Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote)
15–30 Hours per Week
What You’ll Do
As a Bookkeeper at Local Ledgers, you will:
Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Enter journal entries as needed
Collaborate with our internal team
Process client payroll under the direction of our Payroll Manager
Create, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of small business bookkeeping experience
Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience with payroll processing (or willingness to learn)
Comfortable using technology (Slack, ClickUp, Google Drive, cloud-based tools)
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Strong attention to detail and organization
Excellent written communication skills
Professional, positive attitude
Dedicated home workspace with reliable computer and internet

Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper (Remote)
15–25 Hours per Week
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Bookkeeper at Local Ledgers, you will:
Find creative solutions for complex client needs
Mentor entry level bookkeepers, answer questions and develop their skills. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
Enter journal entries as needed
Communicate with clients to request documents and clarify transactions
Explain financial reports to clients in a clear, professional manner
Collaborate with our internal team
Maintain organized and accurate financial records
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of small business bookkeeping experience
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience with payroll processing (or willingness to learn)
